Holiday Inn Express Fishkill-Mid Hudson Valley by IHG

Loved it. 1st of all the reception person Isaac was a lovely young man, very professional, welcoming and charismatic. The hotel itself is very bright and airy. The breakfast is complimentary and let me tell you that breakfast was amaxing bc they put out a variety, and large amount of items. LOTS of food and variety. That hotel breakfast area was packed with guest. The indoor pool and hot tub area looked fun and enjoyable. I went with my family and according to them they slept heavenly however, and unfortunately, my room, tho it was pretty & clean and blah blah blah that mattress needs to be thrown out the window. We woke up feeling deformed and in pieces, completely discombobulated. That mattress has to be 60 years old. THE WORST MATTRESS EVER!!!!! And for the price I paid. I wish l I could get a refund or a credit bc that's the worst mattress. Those 2 beds made so much noise every move I made. My daughter and I tossed and turned ALL NIGHT LONG. They also had a charging station that didn't work. The bathroom ceiling was a bit concerning- looks like it had mold. We felt uneasy so we didn't bathe bc of this. Please see picture attached. Again, my other family who were in another room had an amazing experience & slept like angels. I tested their mattresses & yes they def had DIFFERENT mattresses. They tested our mattresses and said HELL NO and agreed that the mattresses were not the same. I also noticed that noone cleaned the elevator button area, which I found incredibly gross, as we are in flu/virus winter season. The glass through out the hotel were dirty as well. And the main floor bathroom looked a bit unkempt. Im a fair reviewer and only write what is truth. The staff here very freindly and courteous.

This is one of the nicest holiday inn Express that I ever stayed. The room is spacious, clean and modern. The spa type of shower feature is unique and feels amazing!! Define would come back again when visiting beacon NY.

Oh my goodness. What a great find. The staff was incredible. Kind, helpful and compassionate(we were there because we had issues with our heat at home and live locally). Everything was very clean and organized. Pool area was well maintained. If we had to find one complaint, it was that we had breakfast later on Saturday and the bacon was gone(we probably could've asked for more but didn't want to be a bother, there were so many other great options). If my heat isn't fixed today, I will happily go right back. Seriously, every single person working the front desk was very happy, pleasant and nice. My shy daughter even felt comfortable enough to ask Brandon to get into the pool area the last night.

Cami at the front desk was amazing! Very friendly and professional. There was a slight mixup in our room so she upgraded us and went out of her way to come by the room with a few snacks and to make sure we were settled.

We booked an overnight while traveling from Maine to Virginia and we were pleasantly surprised. It is the nicest Holiday Inn we have stayed at with the nicest staff we have met. We were so tired of driving and were so happy there were a couple of places within walking distance to get some dinner. They had a nice indoor pool and hot tub and the hotel was very clean. The only problem we had was that it was difficult to plug anything in, in the bathroom. The plugs kept falling out but I made it work. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stay here every time we come to see our son at West Point. The service from the staff is excellent, and this includes the front desk to the house keepers. They are all so friendly and courteous. Special shout out to Nick at the front desk who is extremely friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. Great hotel that makes us feel at home.

This is our third time staying at this Holiday Inn Express the last few years, and every stay has been great. We've stayed at several hotels in the local area and this one has always been a favorite. Very convenient location right off of I84, plenty of amenities and places to eat within walking distance. Rooms are always clean and comfortable, staff is always friendly and super helpful. On site parking, pool, fitness center, and especially the included breakfast is amongst the best we've experienced in our Hudson Valley travels. Will be returning in the future and would highly recommend!

One of the cheaper rooms in that area. Workers were good. Room was good. Pool and jacuzzi- good…and I got to get some sun in there!! I could hear people above me and in the kitchen at 6 am tho.
